PM Manager, early 40s, married and ENM (Ethical Non Monogamous) AMA
Just curious what everyone's thoughts were on the hiring process timeline for Walmart. Role is X5 non-tech in Bentonville, AR. All interviews were virtual. - Initial screening - 6 weeks ago - Meeting with HM and HMs Manager - 3 Weeks ago - Meeting with Senior Leadership (virtual) - 1 Week ago Radio silence since! I thought the interviews went great, but the recruiter said they are waiting to hear back from the HM and team. Any thoughts? #Walmart #Hiring
Any update here? I’m also interviewing with Walmart in Bentonville, would like to hear more
I'd say you have a fair chance of landing the role. Just sit tight and be patient. You can always be proactive by following up with the recruiter as well. But keep in mind that we're in the prime summer months where an excessive amount of vacations are taken. Which is probably why you haven't received any feedback as yet. There's also a small chance that the requirements for this position are being reconsidered or restructured based on new revelations this most recent round of interviews may have brought about. Or they're simply a company that conduct their hiring processes in an extremely thorough manner. Whichever reason it may be, I wouldn't panic.
Thanks for the reply! I just got an update that my Workday status moved to "Interview(s) Completed", highlighted in green.
That's good to hear. Sounds like you're almost across that finish line.
