What is the percentage rate of IT professionals who holds H1B visa in US technology market!? What will happen to those people if the current Trump Administration will not extend the visa for those people!?! Are big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft etc will leave US to Canada , Brazil , Argentina , India Etc!?! Please share your thoughts!
IT and Engineering is very different. We don't need IT professionals from outside US. We need people with ability to build things (Engineers) from all over the world to come and build their ideas, companies, and empires here so Americans can profit and benefit from it.
Your thoughts sounds a little selfish. America is so big and enough for everyone! If we start questioning people for being new comer, different color, under educated etc, we will loose! We should stay just how we used to be!
H1b is for high skilled people and it should be only used as such. IT is not highly skilled and community college students or new grads can easily do that work.
Start a poll, that should give you good approximation
Started it! ;) let’s see it now !
I guess we would hire more entry level college grads and let them learn on the job. In a couple years we would be fine.
This will not solve the problem! We should isolate US from the rest of the world! We can’t become North Korea ! I respect supporting new grads and doing knowledge transfer, but not this way!
The majority of h1b abuse is on the low skilled workers from consulting firms. Those jobs can be replaced by fresh grads easily.
Consulting firms should be fucking closed/blocked and problem solved...everyone happy...yay
Close H1B and transition to a free-er Work Visa program. Give work visas directly to the person, with no company as a middle-man.
Too many?
Why do people poop replies like this?
