As title. Total days off for Thanksgiving + Christmas (including weekends) #tech
For those with no day off, why so?
SRE Here, therw are no actual holidays for us
Including weekends in days off?
Facebook gave everyone the entire week off for Thanksgiving. I’ll probably take off Dec 23-Jan 1.
None because I’m quitting for FB after bonus payout and want to cash my PTO out 💰 😂
Where are you joining if you don’t mind my asking?
Quitting for FB
We get 5 personal holidays. I have unused 10 PTO’s. None roll over... taking time off now. I feel guilty tho bc I’m switching teams
Taking parental leave. First 3 weeks of December . So if we get last 2 weeks shutdown ( most likely it would be ) then in total 1.5 months
LC on Christmas. No brainer this year given covid
Taking 1.5 months PTO here.
Wow. 6 weeks? How’s that possible? Is it common there?
I’ve not taken any extended PTO in almost a year and a half. As a manager this year has been pretty full on. I just haven’t been in a position to take leave as my team had been hit so drastically by the quarantine (mainly a lot of mental health issues). I had HR emailing that I had 300 hours of PTO, and so, I thought I’d treat myself.
