How much do you bench?

If you’re in between plates then round down. Also comment how long you’ve been lifting and which program(s) you follow.

There should be an option between 1 plate and 2 plates.

Micro Focus iotbw OP Jul 19, 2019

It’s okay to be in the 1 plate club bro I’m there with ya. I’m a newb though

Salesforce torbmain Jul 19, 2019

Does this mean a 1 rep max or comfortable doing sets of 8-10, something else?

Micro Focus iotbw OP Jul 19, 2019

Good question. Anything counts. Whether it’s a 1 rep max or for reps.

Salesforce torbmain Jul 19, 2019

Data is useless then

Google Devil Jul 19, 2019

Start low and eventually raise weighs. Depends you want to be lean or bulky. I prefer lean so lots of fast reps at low weighs.

Members of the 5 plate club are allowed to skip onsite interviews at FAANG and move directly into TC negotiation

Micro Focus iotbw OP Jul 19, 2019

Members of the 5 plate club are either liars or world class strongmen/powerlifters in which case working at FANG is the least of their concerns.

Google nanithefu Jul 19, 2019

Lol world class lifters still need that sweet sweet TC!

tc?

Lmao 1 and 2 plates is a massive range. For a 160lb guys that’s the difference between looking like Christian Bale from the fighter vs the dark knights

Micro Focus iotbw OP Jul 19, 2019

Most guys who bench 2 plates aren’t as big as Bale in dark knight what the fook are you smoking m8. At 3 plates they would though.

Comcast onlytroll Jul 19, 2019

Bale was 190lb in Batman movies. How big you look depends on your ratios ie relative strength. For a 160lb guy, benching 2 plates for 5 reps is a HUGE achievement. Probably close to maximum genetic potential. To go beyond, he has to put on weight, train as full time powerlifter, or do roids http://kinobodystandards.weebly.com/uploads/8/6/3/9/86395240/superhero-physique-standards-3.jpg?1471024255
