Assume a startup that has IPOed and then something like Argo, Cruise, Waymo, etc. that's still 3-10+ years away. How much more in stocks would you have to be given at the non-IPO companies to consider them over the IPOed company? Assume base salary, bonus percentage, signing bonus, etc. are all the same. Depends on the company and risks. Argo, Cruise etc have lots of technical as well as regulatory challenges to solve. Chime on the other hand may be boring however unlikely to hit a roadblock
