First time full time role at a startup. Employee #2 with private equity experience. How much equity should I have? Salary is reasonable.
What’s your YOE
Are you an engineer? How many years of experience do you have? Anywhere between 1-3% should be possible.
Not an engineer. ~2 years experience at a private equity firm and various startup / VC / biz dev intern roles
Interesting. Your current role is PM? Not sure how equity negotiation works in this case tbh.
Also you were able to work in PE out of undergrad? Or MBA
I obtained an analyst role after undergrad.
