How much % of the commission money do agenta give towards closing costs? I meant the buyer agent giving to the buyer to help in closing cost? for example Reali and Redfin give back.
🤣👏
Why would they give you anything back? after you buy a coffee from Starbucks do you expect a tip?
Redfin agents give you a portion of the commission back, it’s on our website/ app for each listing how much you would get back
Is that like how car dealerships advertise “cash back”?
It varies per your negotiation(1-2%). 50% back (1.5%) is good. Some negotiated 2% back, agent take 1% only. But the more you negotiate, less involved they would be. Ex: one guy negotiated that they would do house hunting themselves ( redfin, Zillow helps) and involve agent during offer.
Thanks. Do you know any agent in bay area who does 1.5%.
I live in Seattle... don't know any in SF but mostly Asian realtors do this ( Chinese and Indian)
😂
Why laughing?
