Position - CPU Server Validation Engineer @ Intel, Santa Clara. Posting for a friend. #hardware #intelcareers
Ask for 120 base and 30k stocks + 15k joining bonus. The company is struggling to hire so you have the upper hand.
Not at the entry level.
You must be kidding for grade 5
Atleast they should give you 108K base 25k stocks and 10k joining bonus . Rjal is right on intel struggles on hiring !!
Why do you ask for a house, a new car, amd a boat while you are at it. 😂
These values are based on the new hires in Intel San Jose recently !! Whatever was asked was competitive enough since it is bay area
Base can be 115-120 , QPB+APB ( 10-12% )of base , 15-20k stocks, 10-15k joining bonus and 5-7k relocation depending upon distance and no of people in household
120base, 30k stocks + 15k If you get this, it would be higher than usual for G5@Intel
The Compa Ratio 100% is around 115k in Bay area so why would it be higher?
100-110 base 25k stocks 10-15k sign on Come back and let me know
Just look at levels.fyi They have location wise entries, might be a little more illuminating
Yeah i agree too levels.fyi provides adequate insight on the pay ranges
How much would a similar role at Apple Pay?
Base around 125-135 for CPU verification
Is grade 5 equivalent to senior engineer?
It’s masters with no experience or bachelors with 2/3 Years experience
Nope it’s entry level MS + 0 yr exp or BS + 2 yrs exp
Base:🥜 RSU: 🥜 Sign on:🥜
Your sign on is too high!! I was at intel 10 years. What a waste!!

Everything seems great with this guy, except basic attraction. What to do? My friends say it’s no big deal
Pretty wide range. I'd say 90-120k, maybe a little higher because of the region...can go higher but you should be looking to the next grade before that.
Can you give split of the TC? Base Salary, Bonus, RSUs? Also what do you mean by looking at next grade?
80k base, 15k bonus, 6k RSU
