Just want to know if being recommended by an employee as a good cultural fit will increase my chances vs not having the referral
No, I dont care if you were referred or not. Zero weightage.
Can be huge weightage if referral comes from a well respected or senior person that goes out of their way to vouch for you
Amazon hires and interviews everybody, that shouldn't make a lot of difference. Maybe surely get a interview for sure.
