Forgot about that. But the first batch still vests in June as before from what I remember. So I don’t think it matters.

Joining in January is too late for the 2023 performance evaluation (which begins in January), so your first refresh would vest June 2024, grant would be officially awarded April 2024. Refreshes are annual, and usually quite considerable in quantity (TC will improve well beyond inflation without promotion in engineering).
2.5 YoE at Pure will still get more TC than what a 2.5 YoE gets at Apple 😂
Compare an average employee at Apple versus their counterpart in pure storage and see who ends up making more money over a period of 10 years. Hint: it ain’t pure storage!
