Hey, I'm starting a summer internship in May with Qualcomm and I'm applying to a local fall internship. How can I list Qualcomm experience on my resume (I think it will help me if an employer knew I got an internship at Qualcomm)? Or do I have to wait until it's over so it's "experience" that I have?
It’s not worth adding unless you want a naive recruiter to notice. There’s reason the section is called work experience, employers care about you did, not what you might be potentially doing.
Just say incoming summer intern @ qualcomm
just put “incoming intern” on your linkedin, wouldn’t put it on resume tho
Kids these days!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts :) I just wanna mention to you that I don't wanna lie on my resume, I just want to have a well known company name on my resume as I'm sure this would help my resume getting noticed more.
@yFSV61 If you don't have anything helpful to say, please keep it for yourself. No one needs negativity. Not everyone is obligated to think like you.
I was thinking the same thing, I have a fall and summer internship that I wanted to put on it, but there’s no point because my resume is already full and I can’t just put the internships on there without anything under it
You haven’t even started? Don’t put that on your resume, lmao.
You don’t have to wait until the internship is over, but you need to have done something to list
Hey, the unicorn pirate again. Are you a fan of summaries on resumes? Believer in the "10 second glance" rule? One page always?
