You're not getting 30% raise unless you're getting promoted. In most companies at least that have established pay bands. Also, starting the convo about money shows that you aren't actually interested in personal growth, just more money. Which is fine, you can ask for more money, but don't try to hide it.
so how do I say it? By the way I'm in a startup now with more flexibilities, not at indeed
also, I'm not sure why you think I'm trying to hide it. I just think it's fair that to get some amount of raise, the manager would want to see some improvement on my end. How much more straightforward I can be?
