How to communicate target career growth during one on one?
Can I say "What sort of growth do you want to see such that I get 30% raise next year?" And how much should the target % raise be? #engineering#swe#career

You're not getting 30% raise unless you're getting promoted. In most companies at least that have established pay bands. Also, starting the convo about money shows that you aren't actually interested in personal growth, just more money. Which is fine, you can ask for more money, but don't try to hide it.
