Someone from a neighboring community always parks his spare car on the street in front of my house, and I end up having to park my car away from my home. I have installed cameras and motion-sensor light outside my home that guard his car, while my car is parked in darkness somewhere else. I understand itโs not illigal to park in front of someoneโs house, but itโs very inconsiderate. I have left polite notes on the car to no avail. Please suggest a non-illigal way to deal with the situation.
Is it there all the time? Some cities prohibit parking for more than n days.
He moves it during the street cleaning day, which is every other week.
Not enough, often n=3
If you have an additional car, park it there once he moves or better just keep your trash cans there, everytime he wants to park he has to move them.
Just scratch the car with your keys ๐ if polite notes donโt work ๐
Call city parking enforcement and ask them. Usually you can't leave your car there for more than 3 days. Be prepared though to make a new enemy.
This is the easy solution. Make sure you have good security cam coverage though.
Sandpaper their windshield
Nothing. You can't do anything about it.
Lol, what city do you live in? This isnโt Nextdoor. ๐๐๐
Move to a house with garage.
Spiky things on the road?
Park in front of there house
