Any advice on how to get exposure to Amazon equity since stocks and options are very capital intensive?
Buy e-commerce etf s
Which one you would recommend?
Serious question, why does price per share matter unless you wanted to spend a lot less than $3000 on AMZN.
It’s not about one or two shares. I already have a couple of shares. I want leverage and ability to do options trading on it. Buying 100 shares or a call option is too capital intensive for a single underlying.
You need 100 shares to sell covered calls. You can sell Naked. Also you can buy spreads
If 5 dollars is too expensive stocks are probably not a priority
Buy narrow ATM spreads
Buy QQQ, tech ETF, or another tech fund. You still get exposure with less risk. https://www.kiplinger.com/investing/etfs/601517/best-technology-etfs-to-buy-stellar-gains
Buy call at strike X that you want then sell call at strike X+n. see https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bullcallspread.asp similar with puts. You wont be able to sell cover call on your few shares without margin And as always: never forget to close your position.
