I want to target staff level roles in FAANG and I dont have a checklist of system design things that I should go through. I started with DDIA and find it dense/boring and too bookish. Can someone suggest a possible road map which is slightly more interesting.
YouTube video is another option
There are so many YouTube videos. Which ones are you suggesting?

There are a bunch of senior/staff engineers selling their system design courses online. Look for something that’s cohort based. Learning material is one thing. Learning where you interact and listen to other engineers is more illuminating
Can you share which ones?
TC ?
I found DDIA helpful to give me a solid foundation to tackle any sys design. It is dense but worth the read, will save you time in the end by not having to go through several hours of YouTube videos.
I coach 1:1 and tailor to your strengths. Recently done Staff+ loops and offers. It ain't cheap. DM.
