Been working for Nordstrom as a retail salesperson for almost two years. Currently in college in hopes of getting a business degree. I’ve been thinking about bouncing into tech sales / any other decently well paying job that I can do with only a few years of work experience and no current degree. I am willing to do a coding boot camp or anything similar. Also willing to work full time. I just need some money to pay off my tuition bc I’m not tryna graduate with debt. Thanks! TC 70k
1. Translate your current sales skills into tech. 2. Find a recruiting company and see if they can help you find a job as an SDR/BDR 3. You can join https://aspireship.com/ gain the necessary skills, and repeat step 1 & 2 You got this!
My understanding of the path to sales exec requires a stint in inside-sales. To get an idea of what inside sales is like, watch the movie Glengarry Glen Ross.
Have appointment setting / coldcalling sales experience or really sell yourself on the interviews so that they hire you without prior sales experience
