I know I need to grind leetcode, but is there any resource or a somewhat structured guide on how to exactly leetcode grind? Its been about 5 years since I did DS/Algos and that was also just from CTCI back in college. What are some good resources to learn all the DS/Algos for someone who is starting from scratch. There is stuff on YouTube etc, but its so scattered.... #interview
Start with Elements of programing interviews to get a solid grasp of each main topic/concept, and then just start doing Top 100 questions, tagged questions. Really it's an ocean and you just have to do as many as you can before the interview. There's no structured to do this (if there was everyone would be at Google/FB) so do your best
Elements of programming interviews,Is that a book ?
Yeah you can find the pdf
If you are targeting a certain company, start solving by filtering for just that company. That narrows the problem pool and usually it works when you interview for other companies as well. Also try taking weekly round robin approach so that you cover all the topics and just not stick to one. My advice would be to start with arrays and strings, trees and Linked list. Once you are comfortable expand further. Good luck!
Check out binarysearch.com, it’s more structured, and has higher quality questions and has some cool features like timed rooms for practicing solo or with other people. lately leetcode has been copying questions from binarysearch.com for its contests.
