I am overseas. I am currently a SWE. I heard that it is very hard to have a job in the US without studying there first (CPT) nor transfering (L1 visa). Is that true?
If you can leverage work visa, say you are the citizen of certain countries to bypass visa quota, fly to here and get interviewed with tach companies, then you could take the advantage. But right now, the timing is bad.
Actually nows the best time to study and get onto a STEM OPT. It'll give you 3 years to look for a job. Go for a masters in cybersecurity or some other hot field at a good university.
Nah, security is never hot. Ok pay, but most companies just die one the road.
Do I really need a good university?
US is not as what it is portrayed to be Do the best wherever you are and you can achieve anything If you still want to, I think it is pretty hard but not impossible
The next tech hotbed is india. Try migrating there.
Yes, it is true. And it is also hard to have a job here after studying here.
