How to invest in early startups

For example, I think the social media app BeReal is next up and has a lot of promise. I hang with a lot of influencers & I really think it can become Snap level popular. How can I get financial exposure to invest in such a company?

Sort of. How do I get into those circles? I don’t have *that* much money.

Be an angel investor. Reach out to startup founders and say you wanna invest

OP, considering the fact that you are asking this question on public forum, you are probably not within VC's target audience group. That being said, there are generally two ways to do it for average joes like us: Third party brokers: platforms such as forge can help you acquire private company's stock, albeit with a relatively large buy/sell spread. Not all companies are covered by brokers. You must be an accredited investor to use broker's services ($200K annual minimum income) Direct approach: try reach out to folks working in the co you are interested in, and offer to buy their illiquid stocks. I'd avoid any management level ppl as they are most likely to have much better understanding of the co's business potential than you do. Your chance of success will be higher if you buy from working level ppl instead.
