I'm almost at the end of my student loan repayments and need to start thinking about what to do with the extra disposable income once it's paid off The first thing will be increasing my short term/easy access savings But after that I'm not sure what to do. In my home country there is a capital gains tax-free savings account like the Roth in the US, but I cannot contribute to the former from abroad and I think I exceed the income ceiling for the latter I could contribute more to my 401k and then do something with that after leaving my job (I think? Not sure how that works) but I'm sensing there may not be many tax free options so wondering if anyone can enlighten me TC: 200k YoE: 2

Good news: You can now pay for other peoples student loans once you’re finished with your own!
That's more or less how progressive tax works, yes
Backdoor Roth since you're over the income limit
Thanks. Do I read correctly that the limit for that is still about $7-8k?
Yes
