How to make my retirement fund grow
Hi folks, I have saved a little nest egg and want to now start making plans on how to have it safely grow. Current balances 401k - 600k Roth - 270k Individual account - 700k What are some investment funds/ETFs that I can put/move money to have it continue grow? As year end, want to rebalance Age - 40 TC - 350k Yearly savings 100k
Unfortunately, “safety” and “growth” don’t work well together. The safest thing you can get is a savings account, but that’s not growing. The next option are bonds (super low volatility), but very low growth (< 2%/yr). In the current policy cycle, we’ve got an environment that encourages putting your money in equities, which it looks like you’re already doing. What are you currently holding in your taxable (700k)?
