I wish I had known earlier
I've been on blind for the last six months or so and reading through the posts I find that most people are millionaires and have super amazing hobbies like running ultramarathons or climbing mt Everest. I'm at a point where I can barely run a half-marathon and very early in my career. I feel like I've never been in a community where there are so many over achieving people. Do I give up and understand my limitations or do I keep working hard and expect I'll get there one day.
What posts are you reading? I find that most people on here are new to the field and posturing over things only folks with minimal life experience care about.
Stay hungry stay foolish
I doubt it that millionaires who climb Everest will be on Blind. Is there wifi on Everest?
TC or GTFO
I feel like a lot of people buff up their TC on here honestly lol
That’s what people not in faang say. I thought that too until I got closer to faang people and realized it’s true. The salaries here don’t even seem skewed up 10K
What blind posts have you been reading? What marathon posts? People here mainly discuss about interviews, TC, visas, and some times relationship. Never seen a marathon post.
There was a thread on 2020 resolutions
That's only one post. And that caused you imposter syndrome?
Just accept you are from different worlds. You didn’t become members of the same “community” just by posting anonymously at the same public space that everyone can see. These people are not your friends!
Also, imposter syndrome means you don’t think you deserve what you have achieved. You seem to be thinking the opposite (thinking you deserve what you haven’t achieved).
He can barely run a half marathon. He is almost there on the BS list.
I have run 3 but my timings were above 2 hours. So I went with the barely.
