How many of you in EB-2 India category think of going back to school for PhD and getting a bunch of publications?
Hello all, I plan to apply to google for a cybersecurity position (incident response or pen testing position) in a few months. I was wondering if someone can point me to resources that I can leverage to prepare for the interview. I am not sure if they will ask to LC for a security position. Also, what’s the best way to prepare for G behavioral interview ? Thanks in advance TC- $250K YOE- 4 years #google #meta #amazon #Microsoft #proofpoint #crowdstrike #mandiant #cybersecurity #pentesting #incidentresponse #interviewquestions #cybersecurity #interview #security
Incident Response and Penetration Testing aren’t as close as you seem to indicate.
I know I have experience in both
I dont know incident response but because I hate working as incident response but app security roles definitely you will have a writing code round .You choose your favorite language second round.
Security eng rounds usually don't have LC, but will have one or two domain knowledge + coding rounds most likely. Difficulty of coding will vary but I would prep basic data structures and maybe just understand how to evaluate algorithmic complexity. Highly unlikely you'll get DP or graph traversal or anything that would show up in a SWE round.
Understand the underlying philosophy of beyond Corp. The same core security fundamentals permeate everything at Google. There are no trusted peers, bo walled gardens etc.
