Iโm accepting an offer at NASA, but I already commit to a different (not so large) company in November. Small company pays more, but NASA is NASA and it will be really good experience (and for my resume๐) + NASA has a cooler project involving AI. How should I renege the small company? Should I tell them about NASA or that I got a better offer? Here are some considerations: - small company recruiter and senior developer connected with me on LinkedIn - recruiter and I have chat on the phone many times just to clarify details and we have a casual open line of communication - both roles are remote, but small company was originally in-person just switched a few weeks ago (they asked for my preference) #swe #internship
Just take NASA. Itโs an interesting experience.
Just tell them that an opportunity of life time has been presented to you and canโt let it pass. Thank them for their time and apologize. They wonโt remember you in a year but you would always regret a chance to work for NASA.
