How to report metoo incident in autodesk

My gf is in Autodesk and she is facing metoo incident. Her manager harasses her like anything, she literally cries everyday. Is there any org in Autodesk where women can share their concerns?

As everyone is asking and to be clear here, it is not sexually harassment. It is more of mental torture which is impacting her performance and life badly. It is like moving her to completely new profile to make way for his favorite candidate [ I don't want to disclose her profile here but think it is as from business to automation testing]. She is trying to fit in to new profile and learning new stuff but he ensures it doesn't happen in many ways. I can't quote explicitly how to be anonymous.

    Actually HR does help . My wife faced harassment from team mate at Autodesk San Rafael and we were able to get the offender fired . She had collected proofs , without which it’s your word vs other persons .

    Yes. Tell her to check her email on July 30 for Andrew's company wide message. In it are instructions for reporting anonymously and/or getting in touch with a team created for exactly this reason.

      HR at Autodesk is quite laughable. They definitely protect the company and don’t even try to make it seem like they are helping. To be fair the purpose of hr is to protect the company and not the employees

    So few things I would suggest having recently helped someone with this.

    Before anything, she shoukd figure out what her end goal is. The rest of the email assumes, she doesn't want to continue to work there, and wants something done about the manager.

    1. Collect evidence. Emails, coworkers she can trust who can attest to her managers behavior, recordings etc. Be very specific.
    2. Conversation with skip manager, and if possible something written in email from the manager on what they intend to do.
    3. Lodge a formal complaint with hr. They may not do anything, or do something minimal, but it is important to show that she lodged a formal complaint.
    4. Get an employment lawyer to start looking at all this. All of the stuff before allows your lawyer to make a very strong case for discrimination and harassment.
    5. Start looking for a job. Most of these cases end up in mediation with some money, but it can take a very long time to resolve.

    Good luck to her. This kind of thing can be super stressful and she should get help and support from friends and loved ones.

    Can u share details of the harassment?....IMO, Ask her to standup to her dignity and yell back at that manager in front of other 3-4 colleagues....Then walk up to +1...threaten of harassment case....create a big scene...enough to invite other people to the scene...the boss will get a lesson of life...then calm down...tomorrow will be a different day...keep the pressure...start writing a document/blog...publish it....in this process the boss will leave or ur gf should leave...but make sure she walks out with dignity....I have seen this happen to a friend...the boss became apologetic and was eventually booted out....good luck.

      4. Report to HR
      5. If no action, contact lawyer
      6. If they fire her, good case
      7. Quit. Work at new job. Choose legal action or to live life and forget about it. Depends on how much trouble she’s willing to endure for some extra cash and a win.
