How would you compare these companies for SDE role
I am currently interviewing with these companies and I am trying to get more info on how these companies compare against each other. Mainly interested in wlb, culture, future of the company, career growth, no pip culture etc. All these companies offer fully remote roles. [Update]: As the poll can't be edited, can you comment the reason why you picked a company or reasons why I should avoid something. - Bolt - Pre IPO, 4 day work week. How good is their future - Coinbase - Leading in crypto. How is wlb and culture - Docusign - How is wlb and future of the company - Instacart - Pre IPO. What is the expected growth of their stocks. - Slack - How is wlb, culture etc - Tiktok - Top TC among competitors. But how is the diversity and wlb - Twilio - Stocks low at the moment. Is this a good time to join, How do they compare against the others - Zillow - Had recent layoffs. How is Wlb etc Definitely TC is a big deciding factor. I believe all these would pay 350k+ for Software dev roles for someone with 3+ years of experience. If you have offer with similar TC, which company would you like to join next for Software / Senior software role? What are the other things you would consider? 350k is quite a stretch unless you have great interviews and strong competing offers
Are you saying 350 is a stretch even for Senior engineer roles at these companies? Can you share more details?
At 3 YOE, I thought you were looking at L4. L5 can easily cross that but 350k is high band for mid level
Yeah maybe don’t join Bolt rn… Our internal Blind is going crazy right now. Lots of talk about 4 day workweek not being real and pips everywhere. I would wait for it to stabilize.
