Other than crypto, how would you invest about 200k in the stock market for the long term. As in not touch the money for over ten years?
VTI
All just in VTI?
Will probably do this one to be honest, just wondering if anyone had something else more creative
Buy $SPY stock for long term hold and $SPY leap call options with expiry date 2-3 years away for quarterly swing trades.
Sell the options when in 20-30% profit, buy $SPY stock with that profit and keep it untouched. Reinvest the principal amount to again buy leap options on red days.
Idk while I know leaps have worked in the past, spy historically can be down for 2-3 years and LEAPs can lose a lot of money.
Provide your NW for context.
I mean the 200k is my liquid net worth
Not including retirement and house, which isn’t the point of this discussion
Was real estate too obvious?
VTSAX. Or make your own 3 fund portfolio using VTSAX, VTIAX, and VTBLX or their ETF equivalents.
NVDA
I’d start with defining a drawdown (the lowest you can get before exiting), calculate the expected risk (eg S&P can fall 16% or more during any year), get leverage and invest.
ETH
Not trying to be snarky but didn’t I say not crypto
my b didnt read your post lol all in qqqm then
Las Vegas. LOL
Why not investing in real estate OP? After all you in Zillow.
I don’t want to do any real work. Don’t feel like being a landlord.
