How's Microsoft security?
How tough is it to join as 64 from Google L4? What's the TC for 64 currently? Tc: 320
Scope of past experiences won’t be a fit. TC will also not translate well.

Why won't you tell your YOE, which is also a basic info needed for this conundrum.
Unless you've been crushing it at the equivalent of L5 at Google, most managers will want to put you at 62 or so, keep that in mind. TC will be a problem. Some managers at Microsoft are absolutely terrible, talking micromanagement, narcissistic and gaslighting. There's bad managers everywhere but my experience has not been great.
Managers are pretty good overall on average. You might get me and hit the jackpot.

IC4 is level 65 at Microsoft
I didn't know many 64s making 320 at MSFT unless they were vesting RSUs from 2017 or something similar
I certainly didn’t 7 years ago at MS as a 64. If they are now I should join back at a 65.
