How challenging are the roles? What's the career ladder like? What are the exit opportunities?#productmanagement #product #productmanager #chase
Career ladder … unless you negotiate that pre signing … your fvcked.
whachu mean
It is really going to depend on both the line of business and the technology you are a product manager for. If it is a well-funded product you will probably like it if not it’s going to totally suck. Almost the entire product him that I worked with on a project recently left in the commercial bank because their product just was so underfunded it became impossible to manage. I am on the engineering side so it’s really hard for me to say exactly what the issue was but it was pretty surprising to see six or seven people off on the same team leave
I feel for our product manager. She is a smart lady whose success is probably hampered by our dev teams inability to deliver quality software. I think it's a theme at Chase. The engineering culture is pretty poor, it affects the product / project managers indirectly.
Product Management at JPMorgan is not the same as PM at a tech company. You will be severely underpaid and the actual duties assigned to you are that of a Program Manager. I don’t recommend.
Can you name division and possibly hiring manager?
Unfortunately, cant publicly. let me dm you.
