Hello MSFT folks, How's life at MS in general and working for CSE specific. Culture, WLB, comp, growth etc.
I would say that CSE is not super healthy right now. especially with a Reorg coming in the middle of a pandemic. WLB is usually pretty ok, I used to travel 30-50% of the time. Now I am at home like everyone else.
any idea what the reorg will look like?
can you please elaborate. and are you on CSE?
Hey, I will have my interviews for CSE soon (2-3 interviews 1.5h). Recruiter didn't tell me much but I think that won't be typical algo/data structure interviews. Can you please share what questions did you have on 'virtual onsite interviews'..

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Wlb is there, 9-5 job. Comp and growth will be low and slow. If you are coming from dev background experience, don’t join. It will ruin your career.
You are being specific to CSE??
Got it
