Does Hulu have a work from home policy in Santa Monica? Have an interview scheduled but not keen on commuting 5 days a week to the Westside (1.5 hrs each way in LA traffic hell) so wanted to know if people are in the office 5 days a week or if 3-4 days is feasible after proving your value. I work in Finance but welcome info from all- TIA.
I’m interested to know too. Can you ask the recruiter and team members during the interview process and let us know the results? I never respond to their recruiters due to this reason.
Honestly it depends on your team/manager. Company leaves this choice to the VP / Director who manages the culture of their team. Generally people are pretty open to partial WFH (1-3 days/week). Definitely a no to full time remote. You can politely ask the hiring manager during phone interview and explain your situation. They understand the traffic is hell here.
Hulu has shuttles now between the office and different parts of LA now with wifi. And , yes, it depends on the org, tech you can wfh pretty often as long as you get your tickets done
That's good to know. I might be getting an offer soon and was worried about the traffic.
Traffic from Thousands Oaks to Santa Monica is not bad. It does take little more than an hour. I live near Agoura hills and commute to Santa Monica everyday
I used to commute from Santa Monica to West Hollywood. Westwood is not 1.5 hours each way
I’d be commuting from Thousand Oaks. I was just calling Santa Monica the Westside as anything in that general area is 1.5+ for me
Oof. Good luck
