eCornell Certificate
Apparently Amazon has some kind of discounted cost for eCornell certificates and courses. What would be some of the best choices for these for a career in AWS/applicability and relevance in other companies? What are your experiences with these programs?

BlindMyAss Jul 12, 2022I didn’t think these certifications held any weight but if corporations are partnering with them to offer discounts to employees then I feel like they must mean something after all. I’d look into cost/benefit. These are normally used by technical people to also gain business insight or show depth in something other than their current pathway. If you want to progress technically then stick with actual technical certs, eg AWS certs or something. Otherwise do these for business acumen.
You are already at Amazon using AWS to build your stuff. What's the certification for? If someone wants to use a certificate to disambiguate candidates, really awkward from my point on LinkedIn of view. Lot of certificates are pointless and has no practical implication. For me working knowledge is preferred over a certificate testing for test taking ability
