I got an offer at discover financial services(Riverwoods), how long do they take to start the i 140 process after joining?
6 months if you already have an existing i140 , otherwise one year I guess.
Will they survive 6 months if theres a merger ?
1 year after your joining.
How life will h1 processing take? Do they go for premium filing?
Yes they will if you pay fees $2500
For new joinee they will. But forget about extension and renewal
Do you guys know how flexible discover is in terms of location? Can I work from Phoenix discover office instead of Chicago for a DS ?
If your home address is without 70 miles of Riverwoods, you have to be in Riverwoods 3 days per week. The only flex is you can sometimes be approved to work out of the downtown Chicago location one of those 3 days. If you’re outside the 70 mile range then you are remote. They do not approve relocation outside of the 70 mile range.
