Not sure if I overthink, but right now I feel like I have so much to accomplish in life and I’m in fact suffering with FOMO in almost every aspect of life. Any suggestions on how to deal with these insecurities? #mentalhealth
“comparison is the thief of joy” It’s all about perspective. Some people, maybe even your past self, would kill to be in your shoes. Focus on what you have. Work on wanting less. Reframe everything.
There's no gratitude in your life. Accomplishments don't change that.
Happens to most of us but remember to focus on the fact that success is not something that can be attached to few extraordinary achievements but rather is a feeling of content with yourself. Try and figure out what truly matters to you and take a step in that direction everyday, To figure out those priorities in life is something no one else can help you with so take a day off and decide what you actually want out of life.
you are < 25, right? relax and take a breath.
Find a therapist.
That's a very normal thing to feel and not every feeling needs a therapist to be addressed, seriously you western folks are becoming snowflakes day by day.
Therapy doesn’t need to be serious; it just has that perception. You eat well and exercise before you go to the doctor. It can be prevention based.
Did you have Indian or Chinese parents ? They will always make you feel like you have to do more in life. Watching Fresh off the Boat now - you also do that and it will help you.
"I have so much to accomplish" But work at Intel?
He’s a turtle , not a rabbit!
Lol. So is that a good thing or bad thing
Do stargazing every night. Spend time talking to and playing with children. Do one kind deed every day. Sleep early. Listen to soft music. Come back after 2 weeks and tell me you feel the same or different.
Company name doesn't check out 🤣
Beleaguered?! Wow...
Well, that’s the word which crossed my mind. I agree I could have come up with something simpler.
I like that word. Sounds like beluga which is how I imagine I look like when struggling
