Grew up back home in a mid sized city, i never really experienced the US in my teenage years. - Never grew up in a nice sunny place like Florida or Cali - never had a rap song - couldnt afford to dress with swag - didnt party like island boys - didnt have instagram followers cuz it didnt exist - spent college years in engineering
Lol thinking you missed out on life by not living in the US. I feel like I (I live in the US) missed out on life by not living in nice cities in Europe.
Who gives a fuck lol

Seriously; you're complaining about missing out on mediocre meaningless life experiences of laughing about social media? How old are you? You should be proud of the position you're in and growing up in the unique situation you did.
Most of us feel that way, but then again there's everyone not in the US who haven't experienced US in their teenage years either. So what's your point exactly?
My Indian parents didn't talk to me for 2 months because I didn't finish in the top 10 in my class and they said it was because i was hanging out with kids who were rank 7 and 14 instead of the top 5 so
You are a disappointment to the world 😅
They still don't like me having non FAANG friends
I think you are also missing out on 🐥
I bet OP only really cares about that and was using rap and sunshine as some facade.
Does every teen growing up in the US score 🐥
You never lived in Europe then...
Are you Canadian?
You’re missing out in life by having this mentality. You can’t change the past. Become extremely aware of your present assets and focus on that. This is just a focus problem. Still, I understand we sometimes want to complain. Set up 20 minutes a day to complain and regret, and don’t allow yourself to act that way out of that window.
Amen
you are what you are cause you did what you did. if you had those things, you wouldn't think about this. so imagine how life would be different if you didn't had limbs. then thank yourself now and feel good about it. the way to beat comparison is by moving baseline of comparison. not by moving where you are. when you're done with that exercise, I want you to think about why you need to compare. are you enough? what makes you feel that way? why do you crave more or less? the problem I can sense is that your self worth is tied to external environment rather than internal compass. it's important to fix that. you should be glad that someone like me pointed this out, and you should be grateful to you that you posted it on a public forum where someone can help. you probably go to gym to become someone who is worthy. this is going to change into: you go to the gym because you're worthy of giving yourself time to go to gym.
