Hypocrisy of Indians
Especially when no one below the director/exec level: - Has more than 0.0001% ownership - Basically zero voting rights Take Okta for example: - The CEO and the board own most of the class B shares which have 10x the voting right per share that of Class A. - All of those shares are converted to class A as soon as the founders/board members sell it - This effectively gives the CEO and the board close to 90% (might be more with the co-founder selling his shares) of the voting power. I hate when I hear: We are all owners here. Nah Todd you're the owner, I just have a season pass to your circus. BTW: Every startup from Google to Facebook does this, this is not a new practice, this just makes public companies more opaque and cements the power in the hands of a few. Ownership is the freedom to make decisions and last time I checked Corporations aren't big fans of that.
Indoctrination (aka drinking the kool-aid)
