Interviewing with meta, waiting for final round results, it’s been a few days. I have 2 competing offers. When is the best time to tell my recruiter? I don’t want to rush them in team matching (heard it can take forever), to just decide to reject me because I have other offers. I also want to ensure I get a strong offer if in the case the final rounds went well. Weird spot idk what to do. Thoughts? 620 L7 Amazon PMT
Guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Wouldn't it make you more desirable that you have competing offers? Multiple offers, reaffirm that you're a qualified true positive candidate.
Recruiters only care your chance of getting and accepting an offer. Your chance of getting an offer won't increase just cause you got another offer. The hiring committee doesn't look at that. The chance of you accepting an offer is impacted by your other offers though.
Yeah what stripe said is how I feel
Marketing 101: Give them FOMO. You're a hot commodity; make them know it.
1. Revealing your other offers won’t make you more likely to get an offer. 2. Wait for the recruiter to show their hand first. 3. Reveal your offers and ask what they can counter
This is a good suggestion, may just wait. But offers are timed ::
If you’re running up against an offer deadline, you can mention it to your recruiter. I would try to wait a couple days though if you can- they will likely get back to you soon.
Did you get the result? I am also waiting after final round interview. Have been waiting for 10 days
