The increase is not enticing enough to switch and build from scratch while toiling at the current version of Meta. What do you all think?
Time to quit the 🥜 factory
And join the pip factory
Who cares. OP, join Meta and milk it while it lasts.
This is being low-balled? I'm either super underpaid, or Blind is an alternative reality, or both!
They might be saying lowball because the base just increases by ≈10%. Blind is an echochamber for top earners.
It’s a lowball because M2 can normally get $1M+ in TC
Msft gives that much stock per year????
Right?! Shit.
It starts getting reasonable at 67
Not exactly a lowball. E7+ TC is high because of AE.
What is AE?

How is the bonus only 53k/year? What’s the target bonus % for m2?
25% target. But reality could be 20% given its harder to have a great first year at M2 or even D1/2 levels. Easier as you either go down those levels or above those levels.
At 25% bonus, your bonus is 66k and not 53k.
Last year it was 1M+ TC for new hire E7/M2. Problem now is that Managerial chains are having less open roles because most teams/orgs across the tech industry are not expanding so less incentive to hire managers. Managers have leverage only in a booming economy.
Is flexport as bad as everyone says?
That bonus 53K doesn’t look correct for M2. For that level the bonus is 25% of base at meets all rating… so that should be 66.2K The sign on is way low for M2. That should be 100K Base is ok but can try to negotiate upto 280-300K The RSUs for years 2.32$ M is very close to the max range of 2.4 $ M. Overall it’s not a bad offer except the very low sign on. People were getting >1M offers during the peak. I guess those days are over. But considering the chaos meta is now, I wouldn’t leave msft if you have great WLB there. Unless you are ready to exchange money for madness here.
Second
Also I would assume the M2 have good refresher which would add second test on?
Stay at Microsoft, that's a very low offer for M2 plus you'd be joining at a high share price so it's unlikely to stay over $300
Given the pace it will be 600 eoy
600?! Lmao 🤣
$220k isn't enough? Man that's my ENTIRE salary roughly.
At those numbers, taxes take up like 40-45% of it , more if you have state tax . So not worth it
No, check again. Both of those were in Seattle. There's no income tax in Washington State. Federal tax is not nearly that much.
I can’t believe we’re hiring M2s.
