I uninstalled robinhood, etrade and fidelity app today

Can’t look at it no more. The pain, the anguish, the grief, the agony, the hopelessness.

Those apps enable people acting on impulse. Uninstall and don’t look back.

Which app or broker do you recommend then? I’m using etrade

PayPal aaaaabbbbb Apr 22, 2022

For starters, don’t use an app, instead use the website from your laptop.

Don’t look at $ value of your portfolio, only the shares you hold. Apps make this hard so I just keep a spreadsheet. If you’re not selling for 10+ years the actual current $ value is irrelevant

If you can’t see the red screen. Less chances your will going to see green screen. To earn from the market, u have to be emotionless. 🫡

Google omfgbbq Apr 22, 2022

How do you stay emotionless watching your money deplete. Don’t you wish you held cash and bought later

Google poopie420 Apr 22, 2022

Because it will go back up. I agree stocks aren't for people that have too much emotions. Stocks go up and down, when it inevitably goes down, you have to just stop caring, because it WILL happen.

I thankfully moved a lot of my money into oil and gas stocks in October. (My relatives work in different Canadian oil companies and my view is based on that). However, I still own 100+ stocks in fb and nvda and msft and that is what is driving this sadness
