I want to join Google
Can any hiring manager / recruiter help me to get a job in Google. I am L5 @AWS with ~10 year experience. I am interested in Kirkland office.
Engineer? 10 years and still SDE 2? That's kind of a red flag unless you have an explanation for it.

If you've been in the industry 10 years and you don't know anyone at Google, that's honestly kind of strange. You should really ask for a referral from one of your friends who can say more than "we met on a blind thread"...
What kind of over generalization is this? So, does every single SDE with 10 yr of experience on the planet have to know a Google insider? I moved to US this year. Side question, if I do well in interviews, do they reject me because I met my recruiter on Blind? I have never seen any referral which makes things easier than what Blind could do. Actually direct messaging is way faster.
the referral system is there because we trust that referred candidates are higher quality (existing employees wouldn't refer anyone they aren't somewhat confident about). I wouldn't refer random people I don't know, but I'm sure you've already been contacted by several people who don't care. Statistically, it's completely reasonable to assume someone with 10 years exp who does even minimal networking would know someone in one of the many Google offices around the world, yes.
I know ppl at Meta, Amazon, and Google. When I asked for referrals, Google ppl all ignored me. Meta ppl all responded and a couple of them referred me. Amazon - I didn’t bother; their recruiters / HMs are very proactive to ping me first.
