I’m a soon-to-be new grad wanting to work at Aerospace. So far I have received rejections from Boeing, NASA,SpaceX,Raytheon and GM all without being interviewed. Can anyone help refer me or advise me the best way to out my foot forward for these companies? #aerospace#newgrad
I believe Collins' uses Actalent for C2H.
It's okay, those are legacy companies (except SpaceX), they don't pay well. I can bet most people in those companies with some ambitions left are trying to jump ship. As a rule of thumb, companies that are named after a dead man should be avoided. If you have to work in aerospace/defense, try Anduril, Joby Aviation, Archer, Amazon Project Kuiper, Zipline, etc for higher TC. Fix your resume. Reword the job description into your resume for interview opportunity.
Appreciate the response!
Keep trying, and add Blue Origin to your list. Ensure to update your resume for every role to match the buzzwords on the JD.
I think Boeing’s application is centralized but most others isn’t. Which means that I’d say collins aerospace rejects you you can keep applying to other roles.
Raytheon, northrup and Boeing are extremely easy to get into when without non CS related degree. Your resume is the issue. Make sure you match as much of the job description and keywords as possible.
Thanks. I do try to match to the JD
