I was thinking how hard it would be for LinkedIn to come up with a Blind competitor?
I feel LinkedIn is pretty useless, unfortunately is a necessary evil to get validation and visibility professionally. I think that if LinkedIn came up with an anonymous Blind like product it could go head to head and eat a chunk of Blind just like Twitter did to Clubhouse.
personally I find linkedIn aggressively a breach of privacy and don't subscribe to it. the less people do the less power it has over us
I don't like LinkedIn. But it is, very sadly, essential to most people's careers. They have a monopoly of sorts and as such would probably have interest in going up against Blind
Would this mean that linkedin would start verifying emails? They don't do that now and it's probably on purpose. They've got a massive bot problem
Because they are too woke.
Microsoft is so woke their heads would explode at truly anonymous chat. So many thought crimes… I wouldn’t trust it at all. They make most of their money by selling user data and access to their users to businesses.
