Business development: go to market sales cloud native role and a IBM Garage delivery leader role Any input from IBM’ers on which role is better for a non sales background person. Also which role has a better opportunity for growth to a band 9? Both are band 8 Biz Dev, Go to Market TC: 255 (base 140 plus incentive 115) Garage Delivery Leader TC: (Base 171 plus bonus 10-15k)
As far as i know, all garage members are placed on a incentive plan which should account for 30% of your total comp. surprised to see your expected bonus at 10-15k?
The garage position is not on an IPL (incentive plan). Are you saying that 10-15 k is not possible for bonus ? Or will it be more ?
I am surprised because all the garage offers I have seen (including myself) are on in incentive plan, and the 100% on target bonus will be around 30% of the total comp
Idk if ibm would pay 255 tc for b8, so pls confirm about how much incentive is paid before making the move. 115 would be 100% right? Hope someone tells u the avg number
Yes the 115k is 100% pipeline achievement. I didn’t get an average number from HR but only the breakdown for Base plus incentive
