Getting IBM offer CTC with 40L INR, 14L sign-on bonus. In that 16L is basic and renaming is Flexible benefit. But at my current employer the Base itself is 24L and 2L bonus and RSU of 15L INR. Do we really need to care on basic being lower than current employer? Will it create any impact in future switch ? This is first move. Request your suggestion please Thank you friend. #interview #hardware #semiconductor
It is not a good deal man overall. Are they not offering any RSUs ?
Is it , Equity will be given next year is what said but for now instead of current RSU compensated with joining bonus of 14L
Your base is still 40L which means your gross monthly will be 3.5L The basic and flexible division is just a way of saving on PF and gratuity contribution from the employer. 12% basic is going to be your pf deduction and your employer needs to match that so keeping your basic at 16L instead of 40L save them money in the long run.
Thanks a lot. Can you please help me with net income how much will be with standard deduction from Gross
I think it will be around 2.3L - 2.4L in hand per month depending on your HRA or homeloan deductions.
Are they not giving RSUs too at IBM?
As part of offer letter no but said equality will be given based on performance appraisal of year

Companies always try to evaluate on the basis of your base when giving you an offer. What is your yoe ?
Hi , Thanks . I am with 6yrs YOE. I was told from Employer the base is 38L . Is that good deal ?
Considering you’re just at 6 years of experience, it is a pretty good deal.
