IBM offer thoughts
Just received a return offer for an entry level software developer position after interning this past summer with IBM. Salary is 93k with 8k bonus, based in northern Massachusetts. Is this a worthwhile offer or should I continue to job search and interview with other companies?

I can't speak to a developer comparison, but don't count on getting that bonus. I am a top performer and bonuses recently have at the max been around 1.5% (unless you are in a sales role).

What do you mean don’t count on his bonus? It’s in his offer. It’s the one time sign on bonus. You’re talking about something completely different.

If you’re in the Bay Area all the big named guys will throw way more money at you. Depends on what your motivation is
