IC4 Salary Negotiation Oracle

Hi All, I have been offered IC4 in oracle oci team in Bay Area. I want to know if this is a low ball. Current base: 137k, Bonus: 14k, RSU: 10k per year YOE: 8 years Base offered: 180k RSU: 3000 (~180k) for 4 years Sign on bonus: 15k TC will be 240k 1st year and 225k going forward I had tried to negotiate but the manager is saying this the best he can do. Even though I had informed him that I am in middle of the interview process with another company (which I have the on-site on Nov 30) but that also didn’t work. Thinking of accepting for now and then negotiate with another company. Any suggestions ? #software #oracle #oci #oracleoci #oraclesalary

If your TC=360, then it is on the higher end for the band given your experience.

I think TC will be 180k + 45k RSU per year + 15k = 240k for first year and 225 k starting second year

That is pretty low. Even IC3s manage that. You have a lot of scope in stocks. Base salary is probably right or may not move much. Sign on can go up to 50k easily. Sometimes it depends on how well you did on your interview and where in the IC4 band did they consider you.

No one is getting 50K sign on bonus anymore. DM me to talk more.

That’s a blanket statement. Each case is different.

Sorry I should say no one is getting 50K sign on for IC4.

Definitely on the lower end for stocks and Signon. I had an Ic3 offer 3-4 weeks back with 5k stocks and 40k sign on, for Seattle. They were willing to go higher if I agreed to move to Bay area. So you definitely can ask a lot more for Ic4.

Also heard that there was a Oracle hiring freeze in CA? Looks like its not true anymore? I agree with others that you could push for more TC.

Yeah, the hiring is for redwood city. I have asked them to go up a little on sign on and RSUs
