INSPYR Solutions Disney job?

tl;dr Does Disney use INSPYR Solutions (or any third party staffing agency) to hire temp workers? I am currently job hunting and I came across a post on Monster for a Project Coordinator position. I emailed my resume and within a half hour I got an email back from a recruiter at INSPYR Solutions, and was told that the position was a temp job at Disney job based in Glendale CA. I did some research about the staffing company before my call and while I didn't find anything particularly fishy something feels kind of off. They asked for my birthday and the last 4 of my social which was an immediate red flag for me as that's the newest ways scammers have found to prey on the desperate job seeker. I didn't give them my social, and the recruiter said that was fine and she would put in a phony number for me, but I did give them my birth month and day (not year). The last job I got was a contract temp position but they didn't ask me for my social until after I had been hired and was filling out my W2, hence my current skepticism. I wouldn't be surprised if a company as big as Disney would use a third party staffing agency to fill roles (the last big company I worked for did) but I thought Disney did all their hiring in house. Maybe with the latest round of recruiter layoffs they have outsourced some their hiring? I've wanted to work at Disney my entire life, and I really want to believe this isn't a scam, but my gut instinct is saying that if something is too good to be true it usually is. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated! #entertainment #media #Disney #recruiting #help #scam #fraud #jobhuntinghell #seekinginsight
