IT Analyst to QA

I am billing analyst currently paid 100k tc with 7 yrs of experience. Had 2 kids during this period so wanted a little light work..I want to move in QA profile for compensation change and obviously some more interesting work .. I have masters from US..any pointers how should I approach any potential companies or where do I start..
