YouTube, Google ads in every other place Amazon ads (not to mention their overall retail sales softening) Same drivers right? Am I thinking straight here? People cheering for Meta PIPs wait till it bites the broader industry sooner or later.
Definitely will affect google, Amazon doesn’t seem so ad driven
Ads is a big part of Amazon’s business. Retail is their #1 driver though.
Nah. Google has been in the ads game for longer than almost any other company. They're gonna be just fine.
I believe Snap is the first one that’s telling the reality in Ads industry. Meta & Google won’t crash like Snap, but we will certainly see some pain.
Can you elaborate on what do you mean by Snap’s reality? What happened?
Snap sent out 8-K and lower down their earning guidance in late May, which causing the crash on their stock price. Most of people believe that’s a Snap problem, not Ads industry. However, I do believe that’s an industry problem.
Meta has a stalking problem 😂
Like 99% of Google's revenue comes from search right? Which is pretty impervious to signal loss since the user provides the signal themself..
It’s the fact that businesses are just going to spend less on ads in general that will kill them
People don’t pay to search. So the revenue comes from ads on search results. Which is just as “pervious” to slashed ad budgets as Facebook and instagram ads in a vacuum. Though just about every marketer I’ve ever met has better ROAS on Google than most other channels so they will be one of the last budgets to get slashed.
Is Amazon ads a thing? How big is it?
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/03/amazon-has-a-31-billion-a-year-advertising-business.html
Amazon has become the third-biggest digital advertising company behind Google and Facebook, hitting $31 billion in ad revenue in 2021.
Is this a serious question or trolling? Google and Amazon has first party advantage in ads. Meta was riding on third party wings on mobile (specifically Apple), and those were cut down by Tim Apple
LMFAO. I call him Tim Apple too. 🤣
Google gets ads from search engine, Amazon from merchandising. This question makes no sense
Lol you are so ignorant Go do your due diligence and come back
I work in Amazon retail. Google pays Tim Cook $20B/Yr. to be keep Google as default search engine for Safari. You need to do some homework
Doesn’t Meta rely mostly on mobile ads? Google, not so much
So you are saying blind doesn't think. Shocker
