The end of Backdoor Roth?!
I feel like google makes terrible decisions when it comes to hardware software integration, like there is google health, Fitbit health, stadia and they way there is literally no software support for phones after a year. Jobs would have called the firing squad irl
Thank you for your input Random Blind User.
Pixel will become the dominant android phone within three years. I work on a marketing adjacent team and you'd be a fool for believing that these efforts are not a top priority for the company.
Then you need to step up the game. Even messaging between android is horrible. Slow and laggy, cannot even share media properly. I returned the garbage pixel 6 after a week due to overheating even though I just had google maps on. Top priority for company does not mean top quality. Much like zuck having metaverse as top priority and delivering garbage cartoon.
Pixel growth is 200% YoY and market share is increasing pretty much exponentially. Gradually, then suddenly. Highly recommend you read this article to get an idea of where things will be in the future. https://www.computerworld.com/article/3675965/google-pixel-7.html
Jobs wouldn't have been able to, these days. He was a dick during a period of time in which he could be. Doing the exact things he did in the 80s-00s today, there would be an endless parade of chastising media going on and on with examples of Jobs 'making people feel bad'.
Not just hardware. I’ve been a dedicated android user for years (anyone remembers nexus 5?), but they really pissed me off with how system update is only supported for 3 years and how the system is constantly on the edge of melting down after the support ends. Pixel 3 is perfectly fine hardware-wise but I’m switching to iPhone.
> be me, MBP and iPhone owner > want to listen to music on iPhone, buy apple headphones with lightening jack > plug into my phone and start music > need to charge my phone, can’t use headphones, > ok I’ll just listen on my computer while i charge my phone > no lightening port on my MBP
What are you talking about? Who df uses wired headphones these days?
Can’t wait for apple to go all in on wireless charging
I can see that. I bought some Google cameras and I have to use 2 different apps because one of them is legacy (Nest) and has some missing features if you use Google Home, and the other one simply doesn't work at all using the Nest app. I definitely wouldn't recommend anything Google for non-tech savvy people, Apple is far more "it just works". And I've been getting random bugs on my Pixel 6, going to switch/try out iphone my next iteration.
If tech savvy = more tolerant of shit that doesn't work, then I agree. The day I switched from Android to Apple was the last day I had a phone that burst into flames and couldn't manage to send group texts or pictures to people randomly or occasionally didn't send/receive text messages.
He would've fired whoever came up and approved this ad, says nothing about the product or brand https://youtu.be/d_7_f1XljYk
